Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent deformation of a casing and to improve heating effect by providing a heat generating body to heat suction air in the casing which is tightly stuck to an intake pipe and conducting suction negative pressure into the casing.
CONSTITUTION: A casing 2 is provided in the downstream side of a throttle valve T of an intake pipe 1. A top plate 21 of the casing 2 is formed with a laminar plate, and a ceramic heating element 6 with positive temperature coefficient is provided on the other side of the plate, and its lower part is pressed by a spring 5. An internal space formed by the casing 2 is connected with the intake pipe 1 through a pipe passage 7 to make the pressure above and below the laminar plate 21 alway same.
