PURPOSE: To shorten a time required for the acquisition of a response from a terminal station by providing a receiver capable of receiving a channel for control and a channel for all call paging simul-taneously at the terminal station, polling every plural terminal stations from which the response is requested from the channel for control at a fixed period by a master station, and obtaining response signals from the channel for control and the channel for all call paging.

CONSTITUTION: Figure shows the receiving status of the response signal when a command is sent out from the master station to the terminal stations 1-16. The transmission signal and the reception signal of an all call paging channel are shown in DT, DR, and the transmission signal and the reception signal of a control channel in CR, CT, respectively. After the call signal (A) of the all call paging is sent out by a transmission signal from the control channel of the master station, a polling signal (B) is sent out. The designation information of the terminal stations 1-16 are included in the polling signal (B), and the terminal stations 1-8 send out the response signal from the all call paging channel, and the terminal stations 9-16 send it out from the control channel. In this way, a time required for the reception of the response signal from a target station of the all call paging can be shortened.
