The learning support system is constituted of an answer sheet 1, a pen 3 to write on the answer sheet, and a grading support section 10 to support grading of the written contents. The pen is equipped with an incorporated processor which reads the position code near the pen tip corresponding to the movement of the pen tip and transmits, as answer side written data, the change of the position code in accordance with the movement of the pen tip. The grading support section 10 is provided with an absolute positional answer attribute information specifying function 12 to specify, based on the absolute position on the predetermined coordinate system to which the positional code included in the transmitted answer side written data belongs, answer attribute information of the answer sheet or the question to which the answer side written data belongs, and an answer side written data informing control function 14 to control so as to inform, based on the answer attribute information, a grader of the answer side written data.
