PURPOSE: To contrive to discharge solid materials in a uniform state in a product stored without stirring operation, by forming a tank to store a liquid material containing the solid materials, consisting of a piping, making the inner diameter of the piping have a specific size and gradually inclining the piping in the upper direction.
CONSTITUTION: A tank 1 for storing a solid material-containing liquid material such as ingredient-containing soup consists of a piping 2, the inner diameter of the piping 2 is 1.4W6.0 times as long as the the diameter of the solid materials and the piping is constructed in such a way that the piping 2 is inclined in the upper direction. The angle of the upward inclination of the piping is 1W18 degrees. Since a recovered product can be discharged in a state wherein the solid materials are uniformly contained even if this tank of piping requires no stirring operation, this tank is extremely effective as a stock tank to store the solid material-containing liquid material. Since washing in the tank and sterilizing treatment can be surely and simply carried out, this tank is very effectively applied to various sterilizations such as sterile packing system and sterilizing system.
