Abstract:
To provide a tape printer which can suppress that unnecessary printing is performed on a label part by excess heat of a thermal head.SOLUTION: Printing is performed on n label parts 125, and when an (n+1)-th label part 125 is positioned at a printing position P where the label part is printed by a thermal head 15 at the time when a label tape 113 is cut between an n-th label part 125 and the (n+1)-th label part 125 when counting from a tip of the label tape 113 in a first direction D1, a feed motor is controlled so that the label tape 113 is fed in a second direction D2 until the (n+1)-th label part 125 becomes out of the printing position P.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
