Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin film magnetic head having a magnetic pole structure, wherein the delay of a magnetic flux change with respect to the change of a high frequency recording signal is suppressed.
SOLUTION: A magneto-resistance effect head having a back yoke part reduced in volume is used. Thus, the delay of a magnetic flux change with respect to a necessary recording signal change is reduced, and thus the deterioration of recording/reproducing characteristics such as an overwriting characteristic (O/W), nonlinear magnetization transition point shifting (NLTS), and so on, are suppressed.
