Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enhance the operating easiness in mounting and removal of an engine by arranging the upper part of the profile of a carburettor so as not to protrude up a reference line, increasing the stroke of a rear cushion unit, sinking the seat level, and enlarging the capacity of an accommodation box. CONSTITUTION:The straight line as common tangential to the profile of the oil pump 25 upper part and the profile of the air cleaner 23 oversurface is assumed as a reference line X-X, and a carburettor 22 is installed so that the top of the profile of the carburettor 22 upper part is located identical or below this reference line X-X. With this carburettor 22, a throttle lever 29 is situated on the side face, and a throttle lever box 28 is mounted, and from its front face a throttle cable 30 is led out ahead. wherein no projection should exist on the oversurface. A float chamber 27 intrudes in a recess between a crank case 13 and rear wheel 2 so as to acomplish a less tall structure.
