To improve adhesion of wax coating to an applied surface for wax treatment on a vehicle body coating surface, prevent the wax coating from being scraped off by abrasive grains included in the wax coating at the time of wiping work, improve wax performance exhibited by wax itself, and shorten wax treatment work time.
This tool comprises a wax to be applied to the coating surface of the vehicle body, and a sponge holding the abrasive grains for applying the wax to the coating surface. The sponge may be a sponge holding the abrasive grains applied before a foaming process, or a sponge impregnated with mixture of the abrasive grains and a binder after a foaming/hardening process for holding the abrasive grains. The wax includes either of the one including the abrasive grains or the one not including the abrasive grains.
