Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a letterpress printing device which can transfer a uniform pattern with no transfer failure onto a printed circuit board inexpensively, by performing preliminary transfer without using the printed circuit board, and to provide a method for forming an organic EL element by using the letterpress printing device.SOLUTION: A letterpress printing device includes a plate cylinder 102, a substrate surface plate 107, an ink supply device 110, and a preliminary transfer device 200. A preliminary transfer roll 201 of the preliminary transfer device 200 comes into contact with a letterpress 101, and ink is transferred preliminarily from the letterpress to the preliminary transfer roll, and the ink on the surface of the letterpress 101 is stabilized before being printed to a printed circuit board 106.
