PURPOSE: To provide the subject promoter optimal in application as a percutaneous agent in order to improve its migration into the skin with esp. no side effects as a therapeutic agent for alopecia such as alopecia areata and baldness, containing a protein kinase inhibitor as active ingredient.

CONSTITUTION: The objective trichogenous promoter containing, as active ingredient, a protein kinase inhibitor of formula I (R1 is H or 2 to 3C alkylene chain in combination with R3; R2 is H, lower alkyl, amidino, aryl, etc.; R3 is H or the same mentioned above, and the heterocycle formed in the latter case may be substituted by 1 to 2 lower alkyls; R4 is H or halogen; X is C or N; (n) is 2 or 3). When to be used, the present promoter is made into a formulation in the form of lotion or cream. The concentration of the active ingredient in the formulation is 0.001 to 10wt.% depending on its use.
