Abstract:

PURPOSE: To safely and securely indicate the opening direction of a turnout in a railway track, and to facilitate operation and maintenance.

CONSTITUTION: Indicating lamps 1 to 4 are installed in the track having a straight route A and a turnout B, and a control part 7 having both a power supply consisting of a solar battery and a storage battery, and a timer is installed outside the track respectively. These are electrically connected via changeover switches 5, 6 that are interlocked with the changeover of a tongue rail part C.
