Abstract:
PURPOSE: To recognize surely the irradiation direction of an ultrasonic wave not by the sense of vision but by the sense of touch during ultrasonic diagnosis.
CONSTITUTION: In this ultrasonic probe 1 in a celom wherein an ultrasonic oscillator and a holding part 3 are respectively provided on an apex end part 4 of a rod-like inserting part 2 and on another end part, a touch mark 10 for recognizing the irradiation direction of the ultrasonic wave generated from the ultrasonic oscillator by the sense of touch is provided on the holding part 3.
