PURPOSE: To make the uniform cooling for the hot rolled coil possible, by applying the slurry prepared from the specified heat emission inhibitor to which the adhesivity intensifier like as the boric acid, the phosphoric acid, or their salt of alkali metals, etc., is added.
CONSTITUTION: The heat emission inhibitor mainly consists of the mixture of one kind or more of metals, oxides, hydroxides, carbonates, of Al, Cu, Si, Ti, Be, and Zr; to a 100pts. of this heat emission inhibitor is added 0.5W50pts. of one kind or more of the boric acid, the phosphoric acid, the silicic acid, or their salt of alkali metals. Next, the water slurry or aqueous solution including above stated composition is applied to the outer surface and the inner surface of the coil possessing the 500W800°C surface temperature after coiling the hot rolled steel sheet.
