To provide a vehicle body side part structure capable of transmitting the load input to a door upon side collision to a vehicle body in a short time by preventing substantial idle traveling of the door.
The vehicle body side part structure 1 is constituted by narrowing a clearance between a front door outer panel 31 at a front door rear end part 34 and a front door inner panel 32 as compared with conventional and filling a space between the front door rear end part 34 and a pillar outer side surface 221b by a front door impact transmission material 5. Thereby, at the side surface collision, the substantial idle traveling caused by an internal space between the front door outer panel 31 and the front door inner panel 32 does not occur, and the impact load is transmitted to a B pillar 22 through the front door transmission material 5 at an early stage.
