Abstract:
PURPOSE: To sharpen a motion contour part by selecting only a motion gradation with a field angle movement quantity so as to correct a gradient angle.
CONSTITUTION: In the video signal processing unit in which an image pickup section is mounted to a turning base, a turning sensor 102 and a turning detection circuit 103 detects the turning amount of a turning board for a unit time and a turning amount prediction circuit 105 obtains a predicted turning amount based on the turning amount detection signal. Then a correction gradient selection circuit 107 selects a correction gradient in a scale of a gradient width by making a turning amount and a gradient corresponding to each other based on the predicted turning amount and a gradient correction circuit 108 corrects the gradient with respect to the selected gradient and a contour correction circuit 109 corrects the contour of the video signal.
