Abstract:
PURPOSE: To efficiently recover an organic solvent accompanying an article to be washed and taken out outside a washing tank to decrease loss of the organic solvent and to prevent pollution of the working circumstance caused by the organic solvent.
CONSTITUTION: The washing device consists of a washing tank 1 washing an article 10 with a water-insoluble organic solvent 3 whose b.p. is not higher than that of water and a solvent recovery tank 2 having both an evaporation region A to evaporate the organic solvent accompanying the article 10 by bringing the article 10 which has been taken out from the washing tank 1 into contact with warm water 4 with a temp. ≥ the b.p. of the organic solvent and a condensation region B to condense the evaporated organic solvent.
