Abstract:
To provide a waste water treatment agent and a waste water treatment method which show a high reaction efficiency in the neutralization of acidic waste liquid, and give an excellent filterability of the treated waste liquid.
The waste water treatment agent comprising an alkaline earth metal oxide, such as calcium oxide and magnesium oxide, and a mineral resource, such as diatomaceous earth, perlite, zeolite, activated clay, kaolin, feldspar, and quartz, is mixed with the acidic waste liquid to be filtered.
