Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a water-based ball point pen ink composition free from blotting of written line even in the case of an ink having low viscosity, exhibiting excellent lubrication effect and ensuring stable delivery of ink.
CONSTITUTION: This water-based ball point pen ink is composed mainly of a cross-linked acrylic acid polymer, a styrene-maleic acid copolymer resin, a pigment, water and a water-soluble organic solvent and further contains 0.2-30wt.% of reducing maltose syrup containing maltitol as a main component.
