Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely conduct control of an automatic tube circumference welding machine.
SOLUTION: When conducting whole circumference welding to end faces of two tubes by pulse MAG welding method, two dimensional weaving of torch is conducted along a groove of a tube. In this case, electric current pulse cycles at left/right ends of weaving (161) as well as arc short circuiting times at left/ right ends (143) are obtained, based on the obtained arc short circuiting times at left end/right end, the left/right pulse cycles are respectively corrected (163), a larger one of the corrected electric current cycles at each end of left/right is made to a correction electric current pulse cycle, the corrected electric current cycle is compared with an upper limit value and lower limit value decide beforehand, a weaving width is corrected so that a left/right weaving width in the part is decreased in the case of being larger than the upper limit value and a left/right is increased in the case of being smaller than the lower limit value (147).
