Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a web-bulb wick-water holding apparatus whose structure is small and simple, whose mounting operation is easy and which prevents miscelleneous bacteria from breeding by installing a dam part or the like which maintains a water level at a minimum water level or higher required so that a wick absorbs water.
SOLUTION: A web-bulb wick-water holding apparatus in an apparatus which holds water for a wick 2 covered on a wet-bulb temperature sensor 1 inside a thermohygrostat body 100, and it is constituted as a wick pan 3 which is composed of an outer tube 31 as a support and water-drainage body and of an inner tube 32 as a water holding body. The wet-bulb temperature sensor 1 is attached to the upper part of the wick pan 3 so as to be passed through a heat-insulating wall 101, and the lower end part of the wick 2 covered on it is immersed in water inside the inner tube 32. Water which is sucked by the wick 2 is evaporated by an amount decided by an ambient environmental condition. A water-supply pipe 11 is coupled to the inner tube 32, water which goes over a dam part in the water inflow part at the inner tube 32 is drained, and a water level is maintained in a nearly constant state, i.e., a water level is maintained at a minimum water level or higher required so that the wick 2 absorbs water.
