PURPOSE: To obtain a whitening agent exhibiting effect for preventing and improving melanization and having excellent skin-whitening effect and a skin cosmetic containing the agent.
CONSTITUTION: This skin cosmetic is obtained by blending 0.0001-10wt.% compound of formula I, II or III as an active ingredient. The skin cosmetic is properly blended with various arbitrary components used for conventional cosmetics, quasi-drugs, medicines, etc., and prepared in lotion, milky lotion, cream, ointment stick, solution, pack or gel. The compound of formula I, II or III exhibits melanogenesis of melanocyte and exhibits excellent effect for preventing and improving melanization and the skin cosmetic in which the compound is blended exhibits excellent skin-whitening effect and is effective in preventing and treating stain or freckles.
