This work chair includes a forward tilt means for displacing a seat part 3 from an approximately horizontal state to the forward tilt position, a lifting means for approximately vertically upward lifting the seat part 3 associated with the seat part 3 which is forward tilt by the forward tilt means, a forward tilt regulation means for regulating the forward tilt means so as not to tilt a prescribed angle or more, a lift regulation means regulating the lift means so as not to lift to a prescribed height or more, and a control means 5; and the control means 5 controls to start the forward tilt of the seat part 3 preferentially to the lift of the seat part 3 and finish the tilt preferentially to the lift of the seat part 3.
