Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve workability at the time of tape wrapping molding by possessing appropriate elasticity and without deteriorating erosion resistance of a product, by a method wherein spun yarn comprised of a reinforcing fiber material is used for the warp of a lengthwise direction of tapelike woven fabric and continuous yarn comprised of the reinforcing biber material is used for the weft of a widthwise direction.
CONSTITUTION: Woven fabric for tape wrapping molding is tapelike woven fabric to be used for the tape wrapping molding of a fiber-reinforced composite material. Then the woven fabric is constituted so that spun yarn comprised of a reinforcing fiber material is used for the warp running along a lengthwise direction of the tapelike woven fabric and continuous yarn comprised similarly of the reinforcing fiber material is used for the weft of a widthwire direction. With this construction, since elasticity of a lengthwise direction of the tapelike woven fabric contributing greatly to an improvement in winding-up properties at the time of the tape wrapping molding is secored and the continuous yarn superior in erosion resistace is used as the weft affecting winding-up properties little though the same is wanting in the elasticity, the same turns a matter having the favorable winding-up moldability and erosion resistance at the same time.
