PURPOSE: To increase frequency of voltage pulse and make equipment compact and light weight by applying high frequency voltage pulse to a high frequency transformer through a resonance circuit from an X-ray generating controller to operate an X-ray tube.
CONSTITUTION: A secondary coil C2 of a high voltage transformer TS is divided into several coils, and cascade connection is applied between coils through diodes. A resonance circuit comprising a primary coil of the high voltage transformer TS is arranged in an X-ray generating controller 10 which supplies pulse voltage to the high voltage transformer. High frequency voltage pulse is applied to the transformer TS through the resonance circuit from the controller 10 to operate an X-ray tube 21. By dividing the secondary coil C2 of the transformer TS, and cascade-connecting the coils through diodes 22-1∼22-n, iron core is eliminated from the transformer TS. Therefore, frequency of voltage pulse is increased and the equipment is made compact and light weight.
