Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce unnecessary communication behavior of a light emission control device.SOLUTION: Each of slave strobes belongs to any one of a plurality of preset light emission groups. When a camera 200 gives a predetermined instruction, a light emission device control part 103 and a determination part 107 determine a light emission group where the slave strobe is registered, in accordance with light emission group information showing that to which light emission group each of the slave strobes belongs, and notifies the camera of the light emission group as a preliminary light emission group performing preliminary light emission. When the camera designates the light emission group and gives an instruction to start photographing, the light emission device control part sends a preliminary light emission instruction to the slave strobe registered as the preliminary light emission group, through a wireless communication part 101, and causes the slave strobe registered as the preliminary light emission group to perform the preliminary light emission.
