Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus allowing a photographer to image an intended image when a light source allowing for continuous light emission is used.SOLUTION: A luminaire includes: a light source allowing for continuous light emission; control means for controlling a light emission time for causing the light source to generate light; and setting means for setting a mode associated with light emission timing of the light source. The control means controls a light emission time in which the light source generates light to be shorter in a case where the mode set by the setting means is either a front curtain synchronization mode or a rear curtain synchronization mode, than in a case where the mode set by the setting means is neither the front curtain synchronization mode nor the rear curtain synchronization mode.
