Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods for highly efficiently purifying rhI2S obtained in a culture supernatant to such a high purity as permits direct use as a medical drug by using various column chromatographies.SOLUTION: The invention relates to rhI2S as a medicine which has an oligosaccharide chain linked thereto containing one or more mannose 6-phosphate residues, wherein the average number of the mannose-6-phosphate residues per rhI2S molecule is in the range of 3.7 to 5.4.SELECTED DRAWING: None
