Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of adjusting components efficiently while sequentially charging a steel scrap material.SOLUTION: An operation method of a rotary melting furnace 1 provided with a horizontally installed cylindrical furnace body 1 in a freely rotatably about a shaft of a shaft center of the cylindrical furnace body 1 and provided with an oxygen burner 2 on one side surface side of the cylindrical furnace body 1, in which a preceding melting step of forming a base molten metal 1B of pig iron in the cylindrical furnace body 1; a carbonization layer forming step of forming a coated layer 1C of a carbonization carbon material on a top surface of the base molten metal 1B by supplying the carbonization carbon material in the cylindrical furnace body 1; and an insertion melting step for insertion melting the steel scrap material in the base molten metal 1B by passing through the steel scrap material by supplying the steel scrap as a material to be melted to the cylindrical furnace body 1 are sequentially performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
