Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a photoelectric conversion element in which a degradation in characteristics due to being left out in air is minimized, a method for using the photoelectric conversion element, an optical sensor, and an imaging element. This photoelectric conversion element is provided, in the stated order, with an electroconductive film, an organic photoelectric conversion film containing an n-type semiconductor (A) and a p-type semiconductor (B), and a transparent electroconductive film. The n-type semiconductor (A) has constituent units represented by formula (I) and the p-type semiconductor (B) has donor-acceptor constituent units.
