Abstract:
To provide a recording device having a structure in which an ink inlet port is provided in an ink tank, which can prevent ink from leaking to the outside during ink refilling.SOLUTION: A recording device according to the present invention comprises: a recording head that performs recording operation by discharging liquid; and a liquid storage container in which a liquid storage chamber that stores liquid to be supplied to the recording head, an atmosphere communication chamber that communicates with the atmosphere and a communication passage through which the liquid storage chamber is communicated with the atmosphere communication chamber are integrally formed. The liquid storage container can change the posture thereof to a first posture in which the atmosphere communication chamber is positioned below the liquid storage chamber in a gravity direction and to a second posture in which the atmosphere communication chamber and the liquid storage chamber are arranged in parallel in a horizontal direction. When the liquid storage chamber is in the second posture, a liquid inlet part and the communication passage are positioned above the liquid storage container.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
