Abstract:
To provide a sound transmission mask having higher sound transmission than that of a conventional one while maintaining high particle filtration efficiency.SOLUTION: There is provided a sound transmission mask comprising a cover for covering the nose and the mouth and a mounting member attached to the cover, in which the cover comprises a first nonwoven fabric layer located on the front side when worn, a second nonwoven fabric layer located on the mouth side when worn, and a nanofiber layer composed of one or two layers located between the first nonwoven fabric layer and the second nonwoven fabric layer. A basis weight of the nanofiber layer is in the range of 0.05 to 0.15 g/m2; an average fiber diameter of the nanofibers constituting the nanofiber layer is in the range of 50 to 500 nm; a particle filtration efficiency (PFE) of the cover is 80% or more; and a sound transmission loss at a measurement position of the front face in a sound transmission test using a mouse simulator is less than 3.0 dB in the range of 5000 to 8000 Hz.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
