Abstract:

Bis(cyclohexylphenol) compounds of general formula (I), wherein R represents C1 to C6 alkyl and Y represents -S-, -SO- or -SO2-, provided that Y represents -SO- or -SO2- when R represents methyl in the position ortho to hydroxyl. They are useful as industrial antioxidants and bactericides.
