Abstract:
This cooling structure for an internal combustion engine comprises a water jacket that that surrounds the cylinder bores of an internal combustion engine and that is formed inside a cylinder block and cylinder head, a spacer disposed inside the water jacket, and a first inlet that lets refrigerant into the water jacket on the cylinder block side. The spacer has a dam part positioned on the cylinder head side of the first inlet, and a rib erected on the dam part.
