Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a deodorant composition suitable for the deodorization of an aldehyde-based gas or a ketone-based gas, which does not undergo corrosion when being stored in a container made from a metal (including an alloy), and to provide a deodorant composition whereby it becomes possible to prevent the corrosion of a metal-made container, a member or the like when a processing solution comprising the deodorant composition, which is a raw material to be used in the production of a deodorizing product comprising a base material and the deodorizing composition adhered onto the base material, an adhesive agent resin and the like is produced using an apparatus equipped with the container, stirring blades and the like and when a deodorant product is produced using the processing solution. The deodorant composition according to the present invention is characterized by containing an aminoguanidine salt and a metal chelating agent. The aminoguanidine salt is preferably an aminoguanidine hydrochloride salt or an aminoguanidine sulfate salt, and the chelating agent is preferably an inorganic phosphoric acid, a carboxylic acid or a salt thereof.
