Abstract:
The display device comprises a plurality of pixels above a base board, said plurality of pixels each containing a light-emitting element. Each light-emitting element has, in the order from the base board side, a first electrode disposed so as to be separated electrically from pixel to pixel, an organic layer containing any light-emitting layer from among a plurality of light-emission color types, and a second electrode. The display device comprises a second organic layer which is formed in a region between two or more neighboring first pixels among the plurality of pixels, and which covers an extremity surface of the first organic layer while being different from the first organic layer.
