Abstract:
In the present application, trenches are provided in an area of a buffer layer that directly faces slits of a pixel electrode, so as to accommodate an alignment film in the corresponding area, thereby increasing the thickness of the alignment film. The thickness of the alignment film is increased, and the anchoring force thereof to liquid crystal molecules in the corresponding area is also increased, such that the liquid crystal molecules in the corresponding area can deflect more easily, thereby solving the technical problem in the prior art whereby the penetrating power to an area directly facing slits is insufficient due to an insufficient liquid crystal deflection angle resulting from a relatively weak electric field of the area.
