Abstract:
Provided is a gear device with which defects such as abnormal wear due to relative misalignment between internal gear pins and an externally-toothed gear can be eliminated, and with which an increase in the number of components can be prevented. This gear device (1) is equipped with an outer tube (2), internal gear pins (3), and a carrier (4). Multiple pin grooves (13) are formed in the inner circumferential surface of the outer tube (2), extending in the axial direction of the outer tube (2), and the internal gear pins (3) mate with the pin grooves (13). The pin grooves (13) are formed such that the length of the pin grooves (13) is greater than the length of the internal gear pins (3). The carrier (4) is equipped with a pair of pressing members (7) having pressing surfaces (7c). The pressing surfaces (7c) are constructed so as to restrict the axial movement of the internal gear pins (3) and an oscillating gear (6) having external teeth (6a).
