An LED driving chip for manufacturing a single-wire chained communication link in a Mini-LED backlight module. The LED driving chip comprises a main controller (1), a first input/output port (2), a first port detection circuit (3), a second input/output port (4), and a second port detection circuit (5). The first input/output port (2) and the second input/output port (4) are in a high impedance state when being idle, and when the level of one of the first input/output port (2) and the second input/output port (4) is detected to change, the first input/output port (2) or the second input/output port (4) of which the level changes is set as an input port by the main controller (1) and starts to receive data, and the other one of the first input/output port (2) and the second input/output port (4) is set as an output port by the main controller (1), and the main controller (1) sends data to be sent to the output port and transmits same to the next LED driving chip on the single-wire chained communication link.
