Abstract:

[Problem] To provide a light-receiving element and an electronic apparatus that can reduce the effects of a defective counter circuit. [Solution] The present disclosure provides a light-receiving element that comprises a plurality of pixels and a control circuit, the pixels having a detection circuit that can detect the incidence of photons and a counter circuit that counts pulses outputted by the detection circuit or clock pulses outputted by the control circuit. In an inspection mode, the counter circuit counts the clock pulses outputted by the control circuit.
