Abstract:
Disclosed in the present application are a message processing method and a related device. When sending an SR policy to a head node of the SR policy, a control entity also informs the head node of the uses of the SR policy by means of indication information of the SR policy; and after sensing the uses of the SR policy on the basis of the received indication information, the head node can execute corresponding operations according to different uses, so as to ensure that the SR policy can work, for example, when it is ensured that an SID comprised in a segment list in an end-to-end SR policy exceeds an MSD of a network device, an associated SR policy corresponding to the end-to-end SR policy can be effectively deployed, and a service message can be effectively forwarded on the basis of the end-to-end SR policy and the associated SR policy, thereby improving the bandwidth resource utilization rate.
