Abstract:
The purpose of the present disclosure is to enable connection to a network via a single edge device from among edge devices in which a plurality of user devices exist, without notifying information between an edge device and a device that branches a signal to a plurality of edge devices. A network system according to the present disclosure is characterized in that a plurality of edge devices have a user accommodation port and a network-side port, the user accommodation port being connected to a branch device which is connected to a user device, the network-side port acquiring information relating to the user accommodation port, only a single edge device among the plurality of edge devices setting the user accommodation port to an open state on the basis of the information relating to the user accommodation port and enabling traffic transfer to and from the user device, the edge devices except the single edge device among the plurality of edge devices setting the user accommodation port to a closed state and discarding traffic to and from the user device.
