Title:
ORGANIC ELECTROLUMINESCENT ELEMENT
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/059334
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
[Problem] The purpose of the present invention is to provide an organic EL element by combining, as materials for an organic EL element with high light-emission efficiency and high durability, various types of organic EL element-use materials having excellent hole and electron injection/transportation performance, electron blocking capabilities, and thin film properties such as stability and durability, where the materials are combined so as to effectively exhibit the characteristics of each of the materials. The provided organic EL element has (1) high light-emission efficiency and power efficiency, (2) a low light-emission start voltage, (3) a low practical drive voltage, and (4) a particularly long life. [Solution] Provided is an organic electroluminescent element characterized by having, in the stated order, at least an anode, a hole transport layer, a light-emission layer, an electron transport layer, and a cathode, wherein the hole transport layer contains an arylamine compound represented by general formula (1), and the light-emission layer contains a heterocyclic compound having a condensed ring structure represented by general formula (2) or a heterocyclic compound having a condensed ring structure represented by formula (3).
