Abstract:
A path association information acquisition method, device and system, which belong to the technical field of networks. A first network device generates a message that carries template indication information, and sends the message to a second network device; and after receiving the message, the second network device determines, according to the template indication information carried by the message, a target template that is associated with a target forwarding path, and executes, according to the target template, an operation that is associated with the target forwarding path. Therefore, by means of carrying, in a message, template indication information corresponding to different templates, the first network device can instruct different receiving network devices to determine a target template that is associated with a target forwarding path, and determine, according to the target template, association information, such as path attributes or path constraints, which is associated with the target forwarding path. By means of publishing path association information in the manner of carrying template indication information as provided in the present method, the flexibility of acquiring path association information can be improved without affecting protocol stability.
