Abstract:
A sledge (1) on which an electrode (2)(heavy object) is packed is moved on a floor surface with sliding members (4) detachably attached to beams (8) of a load conveying platform (3) sliding on the surface. Because a run-on section (14) formed on each of the sliding members (4) can run on a step (15) on a heavy object conveying path, the sledge (1) on which the electrode (2) is packed can run over the step on the path to be loaded into and unloaded from a dry container. An elongate heavy object can be easily loaded into and unloaded from a dry container by a fork lift truck (load handling vehicle).
