Abstract:
A first base station of a radio communication system includes a receiver that receives information indicating a number of terminals to be communicated via a relay device from among terminals under control of a second base station, a controller that calculates a sum of the number indicated by the information and a number of terminals to be communicated via the relay device from among terminals under control of the first base station, as a total number of the terminals to be communicated via the relay device, determines, based on the total number, a first time interval in which the first base station uses the relay device and a second time interval in which the second base station uses the relay device, and a transmitter that transmits, to the second base station, information indicating the second time interval.
