Abstract:
The present invention is for obtaining an ultrasonic sensor that is less affected by a change in humidity. An ultrasonic sensor (1) is formed by laminating a piezoelectric element (2), a metal housing (3), a first acoustic matching layer (4), and a second acoustic matching layer (5) in this order. The first acoustic matching layer (4) adjacent to the piezoelectric element (2) with the metal housing (3) interposed therebetween is composed of a thermoplastic resin and an inorganic filler. The weight fraction of the inorganic filler in the first acoustic matching layer (4) is set to 30% or less, and the weight fraction of a hollow structure filler in the inorganic filler is set to 50% or less.
