Title:
V. A. ZASOLKIN'S METHODS FOR DETERMINING THE PARAMETERS OF A CIRCLE AND DEVICES FOR REALISING THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/1999/022569
Kind Code:
A2
Abstract:
The present invention relates to methods for determining the parameters of a circle without using numerical algebraic calculations implying the mathematical constant $g(p). In a first aspect, this invention relates to a device (Fig. 1) for determining the diameter of a circle from its length, while in a second aspect this invention relates to a method (Fig. 2) for determining the diameter of a circle from its length. In a third aspect, this invention relates to a device (Fig. 3) for determining the length of a circle from its diameter, while in a fourth aspect this invention relates to a method (Fig. 4) for determining the length of a circle from its diameter. In a fifth aspect, this invention relates to a method (Fig. 4) for determining the mathematical constant $g(p) using the formula $g(p) = 3 + $m(R)2 - 14/11 = $m(R)2 + 19/11.
