Abstract:
The present invention improves restoration quality in a declipping process. A waveform restoration device (1) restores a pre-clipping signal from a post-clipping signal. A matrix generation unit (12) generates a post-clipping signal matrix which comprises a prescribed number of signal frames obtained by dividing the post-clipping signal into frames. A matrix estimation unit (13) estimates a pre-clipping signal matrix which comprises estimated values for signal frames of the pre-clipping signal that correspond to the signal frames included in the post-clipping signal matrix. An estimated value determination unit (14) determines the estimated values for the signal frames of the pre-clipping signal, which are to be used for restoring the pre-clipping signal matrix.
