To provide an adaptor for a memory card for allowing a user to see a capacity or the liked displayed on a casing surface of a compact memory card from the outside when the compact memory card is stored.

This adaptor for the memory card stores a memory card smaller than the adapter therein so as to be freely inserted/removed at one edge side (bottom face rear edge part). The adaptor is equipped with: a plurality of connection terminals electrically connected to the plurality of electric terminals of the compact memory card; a base formed to correspond to the outer shape of one face side of the prescribed memory card; and a cover covering the upper face of the base. The terminal of the prescribed memory card is formed at the edge section (bottom face rear edge section) at one edge side of the base, and a card insertion section is formed at the other edge side (front edge side face) of the base. At least a part of the cover is made of transparent resin, and the compact memory card stored inside can be seen through the cover.
