Abstract:
PURPOSE: To hold an address which is used again in a register, to eliminate the need of executing the operation of address saving and to reduce the number of steps in a program.
CONSTITUTION: A register 1 for holding a start address which is updated for respective periods is provided. A register 2 for holding the address which is updated whenever a memory is accessed for the respective periods is provided. A register 3 for holding a specified address which is updated at specified timing is provided. An adder 5 which selects the outputs of the registers 1-3, adds a prescribed value to them and sets them to be the update addresses of the registers is provided. A register 6 for holding the output address AD of the adder 5 and supplying it to a data memory is provided.
